It has been SO LONG since I’ve been on tumblr. At first, I had stopped because I was starting to get bored with seeing the same shit all the time, and I had just discovered pinterest (still obsessed with that, btw. SO MANY AMAZING FOOD RECIPES) I was also so busy getting ready for my little bundle of joy, so I didn’t have a whole lot of  time between working full time, getting in my daily nap, and getting things ready ,so the internet, minus my daily bitching about pregnancy and my job on facebook, took a backseat to all of that. Now I am home with my wonderful daughter, all day everyday, while on maternity leave, and in an effort to do absolutely nothing, I’ve decided I’d go back to tumblin in between episodes of the True Life marathon and my attempts to understand extreme couponing. So with that, I’m starting up A Work in Progress! You can expect all the funny shit and pretty pictures I was reblogging before, but now with pictures of an adorable baby and anecdotes about being a new mom sprinkled in. I promise, they’ll be few and far between, so don’t unfollow me because you hate children or words or whatever. Like the reason I originally started this tumblr like four years ago, I’m still trying to figure out who I am and where my life is going, and figuring out how to fulfill all the roles I take on in my life (with the newest and most difficult by far being “mother”!), and I’m still hoping that using an outlet to express myself, even through pictures of puppies, starbucks coffee drinks and girls in pretty clothes, will help me figure out something more about myself. Now, to finish off this long post no one will really read, here are pictures of my adorable daughter, Riley. She two weeks old now and I’m obsessed with her. She’s my life.
